I teach students how to learn math.
Learning Math is a lot like learning to play a musical instruement. You can’t become a rockstar without some practice. Your teacher explains it, maybe you watched some YouTubers explained it, and I can explain it too but at the end of the day, you have to practice.
You can’t read the sheet music, watch someone else play piano in a bunch of video and then expect to show up to perform without ever playing the piano yourself. You have to pick up a pencil, make mistakes, and do it over and over again until it gets smoother, just like playing song!
I give all my students a plan to practice in-between our meetings. That can be worksheets or apps but the key to getting an A is 15 minutes a day!
